At the helm of affairs of Maritime Risk Surveys & Recoveries Ltd is MR KINGSLEY F. ALALE, an expert in Marine Insurance (Underwriting & Claims) with over 20 years experience.

Holds a Diploma in Insurance and B. Sc. in Sociology (Uniport).
Studied in London with LONDON GUILDHALL UNIVERSITY - Certificate course on Shipping/Maritime Law & International Trade -yr.2000.
Attended various training courses, seminars, workshops of NIA on Marine Insurance and Risk Management and related courses - (home and abroad) and a host of other management courses such as: Total Quality Management (TQM) & Institute of Management Consultants, Towards A Freer Nigerian Port System for the Conduct of International Business, etc
One of the early pioneer students of Marine Insurance practice in Nigeria that was privileged to recieve direct practical training in Marine Insurance technology from the European Experts seconded to assist Nigeria Insurance Market, following 1976/77 Marine Insurance Decree of Nigeria. The founders of Marine Office Committe(MOC),
Had working experience with CFAO(NIG) PLC as the Insurance Manager, and joined the Marine dept. of UNIC Insurance Plc in 1977 until 2001 when he retired as a Controller - Adjuster of Marine Claims.
Had extensive exposure abroad and attended various training in LONDON with the following institutions: (1) International Maritime Bureau(IMB) where he studied: International Trading Problems - Pitfalls & Remedies, (ii) Thereafter a brief attachment to LLOYDS OF LONDON &HOGG INTERNATIONAL, LONDON, for further practical training on Marine Insurance (Underwriting & Claims)-yr 1991

The firm is a member of the Guild of Marine Surveyors, the umbrella body.
The company has over 14 full time staff and other part-time workers.
